The Israel Defence Force (IDF) has begun taking deliveries of the H-S Precision .338 2000 series Heavy Tactical Rifle (HTR) as part of a reorganisation of its sniper units.rnA first batch of 100 rifles was delivered to the IDF in time for use during the offensive against Hamas in Gaza. An additional 400 rifles have been ordered and there is a potential requirement for another 1,000.
