A new mobility platform for the UK Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) Regiment is set to be delivered in March to bring an early theatre entry capability on line with purpose-designed vehicles.rnThe first of 20 Light Role Team (LRT) vehicles is to be handed over by Smiths Detection by August 2009 to replace man-portable equipment bought in 2001 with Urgent Operational Requirement funding. Details of the project emerged in a briefing document published by the 1 st Royal Tank Regiment (1 RTR), which provides the core of the CBRN Regiment.
