Raytheon and Emirates Advanced Investments (EAI) have conducted the first control test vehicle flights of the Talon laser-guided rocket (LGR), the companies announced at IDEX.rnThe tests began in mid-February and are continuing.rnThe Talon LGR is designed to provide a low-cost, precision attack capability for fixed-and rotary-wing platforms and uses Raytheon's common digital semi-active guidance and control kit, which mates directly to the front of existing 2.75-inch (70 mm) unguided rockets.
