Swiss defence aerospace technology group RUAG is to acquire 100 per cent of Oerlikon Space AG from the high-tech industrial group OC Oerlikon, it was announced on 2 June.rnThe purchase price - the value of which was not disclosed - will be paid in cash and the closure of the transaction is expected in mid-2009 following clearance from the relevant merger control authorities, both groups said in a joint announcement.
