China, Japan, Russia and South Korea are to extend their counter-piracy missions off Somalia by despatching fresh warships to relieve vessels currently deployed in the area.rnThe People's Liberation Army Navy is sending three vessels from its East Sea Fleet: the Jiankai l-class (Type 054) frigates Maanshanand Wenzhouand the Fuchi-class replenishment ship Qiandao Hu.rnThe trio will replace the Luhai-class destroyer Shenzhen, the Jiangkai It-class frigate Huangshanand the replenishment ship Weishan Hu; the latter has been supporting China's counter-piracy effort since its inception on 6 January.
