The US Air Force (USAF) has awarded Lockheed Martin a USD23 million contract for the production of 12 AGM-158B Joint Air-to-Stirface Standoff Missile-Extended Range (JASSM-EB) test missiles to be used in flights trials, the company announced on 6 July.rnSix of the missiles will be used to complete the development flight-test programme, with the remaining six to be used in operational tests. Ail of the missiles will be tactically configured with an added test instrumentation kit.
