The US Army will soon send MQ-5B Hunter unmannedrnaerial vehicles (UAVs) armed with precision-guided GBU-44/B Viper Strike weapons into combat following successful testing, according to Northrop Grumman the manufacturer of both systems.rnThe company said on 1 September that it has completed testing the GPS-guided Viper Strike on board the Hunter at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico.
