The combat-capable variant of the Yakovlev Yak-130 advanced jet trainer/light-attack aircraft has made its maiden flight, the Irkut Corporation announced on 31 August.rnThe flight, which took place on 21 August and lasted for 40 minutes, verified the aircraft's performance characteristics at different heights and speeds, its manoeuvrability and stability and its systems and powerplant performance.
