The Uruguayan Air Force officially received two CASA C-212-200MP aircraft into service with the 3rd Air Squadron at the Cesareo Berisso airbase in Carrasco on 9 September.rnBoth aircraft were acquired from the Swedish Coast Guard (Kustbevakningen) for a reported total of EUR1.8 million (USD2.6 million). Sweden has replaced them with Bombardier Q300MSA/Dash 8s.
