The manufacturer of the NATO Frigate Helicopter (NFH) has pressed the Australian Department of Defence (DoD) to confirm that the Royal Australian Navy's (RAN's) future air warfare destroyer (AWD) will be able to accommodate the aircraft.rnThe request comes amid concerns that the country's AUD1.5 billion (USD1.3 billion) requirement for at least 24 combat helicopters may not be decided by open competition.
