Guinean junta leader Captain Moussa Dadis Camara has moved to distance himself from the massacres committed on 28 September by Guinean soldiers that left at least 157 people dead after anti-government protests.rnCapt Camara's statement that elements of the army were beyond his control, however, could do more to undermine his position than bolster it and move the country still further away from supporting him in coming presidential elections.
