NATO's Airlift Management Organisation (NAMO) has received its third and final Boeing C-17A Globemaster III transport aircraft, the US Air Force (USAF) said on 16 October.rnThe delivery on 12 October fulfils the strategic airlift requirements of the 12-country Strategic Airlift Capability (SAC) programme and marks the culmination of a year-long project. The aircraft have been assigned to NATO's Heavy Airlift Wing (HAW) based in Papa, Hungary, and will support International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) operations in Afghanistan as well as other SAC requirements.
