The 11 defence conglomerates that are run by the Chinese state recorded a 27.5 per cent increase in revenues and a 104.4 per cent increase in profits between January and November 2007, according to a statement released by the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence (COSTIND) last week.
