The head of SNPE subsidiary and explosives manufacturer EuropeanEnergeticsCor-poration (EURENCO) has said that further restructuring at the company is likely, but that this must incorporate a "more European view". Speaking to Jane's on 14 January, EURENCO Chief Executive Officer and Chairman Jacques Cardin said: "Overcapacity [in the explosives and propellant industries] is now at two to three times, so we still have to consider further restructuring, but we need a more 'European' view, from a political point of view."
