The US military is showing interest in using an Israeli urban warfare training facility in the Negev desert to supplement predeployment training in the Middle East.rnLieutenant General Steven Blum, the chief of the National Guard Bureau, recently paid a visit to the National Urban Training Centre (Hebrew acronym: MALI): a mock-up town in the Negev where Israeli forces prepare for urban warfare.
