摘要

India's amended offset policy will assist in the development of India's armed forces and defence industries, according to the country's minister of state for defence production. Rao Inderjit Singh, who was speaking at an offsets seminar in New Delhi on 13 February, said the policy - which stipulates contracts worth more than INR3 billion (USD75.7 million) must include direct offset clauses amounting to at least 30 per cent of the value of the deal - will bring technological advances into both sectors.
