The UK's Defence Equipment and Support agency has formally shortlisted two contractors for the next phase of the Mounting Weapon System Under Armour (MWSUA) project following the receipt of a pre-qualification questionnaire from a number of international contractors. Jane's understands that Selex Galileo, with its current production Enforcer, and Thales Land and Joint Systems, with the Norwegian Kongsberg Protector remote-controlled weapon station (RCWS), are the two contractors shortlisted to receive the invitation to tender.
