Rheinmetall's stake in Artec GmbH - the consortium behind the Dutch-German Boxer wheeled armoured vehicle programme - will grow from 14 per cent to 64 per cent after it agreed to purchase the 50 per cent stake held by Netherlands-based Stork NV. The agreement - the terms of which were not disclosed and which is still subject to regulatory clearance - was announced by Rheinmetall on 17 March and will see the defence technology group acquire Stork PWV (Pantser Wiel Voertuig - wheeled armoured vehicle) from Stork NV.
