Private equity firm Candover has once again put forward a EUR1.5 billion (USD2.2 billion) bid for Dutch conglomerate Stork NV after a deal was reached to break the deadlock that had halted a previous offer.rnThe EUR48.40 per share recommended cash offer includes an agreement to sell Stork's Food Systems division for EUR415 million: an "integral and inseparable" part of the intended offer, said Stork, which could ultimately lead it to focus on defence and become a "Dutch aerospace champion".
