Urgent warfighter needs, coupled with the availability of wartime supplemental funding, are allowing the US Army to continue fielding two different systems to meet its remote weapon station (RWS) requirements. The two systems are the M151 Protector RWS from Kongsberg Protech AS and the M101 Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station (CROWS) from Recon/Optical, Inc (ROI).
