The US Army is winding down procurement of its current Interceptor Body Armour vest as it looks to a next-generation design. Interceptor is a modular body armour system that consists of a Kevlar Outer Tactical Vest (OTV), ceramic small arms protective inserts and a number of protective accessories. Additional components include a groin protector, upper arm attachments and side plates.
