The Philippine Army (PA) preparing a restructure to enable the service to bette conduct internal securit operations. "I have instructed our J3 (Open tions) [staff] to prepare this. This is the organisation we want to propose." when we revisit our structure," Lieiu-tenant General Efren Abu told JDW in October when he was PA Corn manding General. Gen Abu has since been promoted to Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff and Lieutenant General Generoso Senga has succeeded him in the senior army post.
