摘要

UK-based AEI, along with BAE Systems Avionics, its main subcontractor and thermal imager (TI) supplier, has proposed the Enforcer Remote Controlled Weapon Station (RCWS) to meet emerging UK requirements for a self-defence weapon/surveillance and target acquisition (SDW/STA) system. Jane's Defence Weekly sources have confirmed that the AEI Enforcer was the only such system all three vehicle contenders selected as their first choice for the British Army's Future Command and Liaison Vehicle (FCLV). Alvis Vickers recently won this competition with the Italian Iveco Multirole Light Vehicle (MLV) (JDW 23 July). Two of the FCLV contenders also offered the Thales AFV Systems Stabilised Weapon And Reconnaissance Mount Lite (SWARM Lite) as an alternative.
