BAE Systems has joined the scrum to buy TRW, announcing that it is interested in the defence segments of the business, joining Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics and reportedly L-3 Communications in negotiating possible terms for buying parts of the company. "BAE Systems has been following developments regarding the future of TRW," the company said in a terse release. "This situation may offer an opportunity to extend further BAE Systems defence activities in North America. The company has therefore established a dialogue with TRW."
