Russian President Vladimir Putin has urged Russia's defence industry to create a new integrated defence export strategy as the country faces changing conditions in the global export market. Chairing a meeting of the Russian Federal Commission for Military Technology Co-operation with Foreign States on 6 November, Putin said that, as the country's defence exports remained at USD15 billion, the Russian government was continuing to monitor trends in the global military equipment market.
