If the US Army ultimately decides to cut its planned Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) buy, the US Marine Corps (USMC) will have to grapple with budgeting for the resulting increased per-unit cost. Testifying before the Senate Armed Services Committee on 9 April, USMC Commandant General Robert Neller fielded questions about the USMC's fiscal year 2020 (FY 2020) budget request and the effect of a potential army cut to the JLTV programme.
