The fiscal year 2020 (FY 2020) budget request for the US Navy (USN) is about USD205.6 billion, or about 4.6% more than the enacted FY 2019 budget. This is slightly more than the 3.8% average budget growth the USN has seen since FY 2018, according to USN budget documents released on 12 March. Within that request is about USD44.7 billion for Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO) funding: about USD34.9 billion for the USN and USD9.8 billion for the US Marine Corps (USMC). The overall enacted FY 2019 OCO funding was about USD8.1 billion.
