Swedish defence exports remained virtually static at SEK11.4 billion (USD1.2 billion) in 2018: a year in which the country introduced significant reforms to tighten export controls. The Swedish defence sector's foreign sales last year compare with figures of SEK11.3 billion and SEK11 billion in 2017 and 2016 respectively. The latest figures were reported by Sweden's Inspectorate of Strategic Products on 14 March.
