FLIR Systems has acquired Aeryon Labs for USD200 million, further expanding its presence in the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) market. FLIR will now incorporate Aeryon's technologies, including vertical take-off and landing quadcopters such as the SkyRanger system, into its offerings, which already feature FLIR's thermal sensing payloads.
