The US military is lookingfor contractors that can build military infrastructure in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, according to a notice released by the US Federal Business Opportunities website on 30 January. The notice said the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is planning to award a single architect-engineering contract worth USD111 million over five years to a contractor that is capable of designing and building multi-use military installations that may include runways, taxiways, aprons, hangars, munitions handling facilities, barracks, and dining halls.
