India's state-owned Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) announced on 8 January that it has been awarded a INR7.6 billion (USD108 million) contract by the Indian Army (IA) for the supply of an undisclosed number of licence-built Konkurs-series anti-tank guided weapon (ATGW) systems. "The missiles and launchers will be manufactured under continued technical collaboration with Russia at BDL's Bhanur unit in Telangaga State," said the company in a statement.
