The German Ministry of Defence (MoD) plans to procure nine air-transportable Mungo armoured multirole transport nuclear/chemical (A/C) reconnaissance vehicles from Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) for EUR51 million (USD57 million), including training and maintenance, according to a parliamentary report seen by Jane's.In addition, the Bundeswehr intends for the single prototype vehicle to be brought up to the standard of the serial production vehicles, bringing the fleet total to 10.
