Lockheed Martin is "on a good path" to mitigate risks arising from the exclusion of Turkey from the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter programme, CEO Marillyn Hewson said on 23 July. In a conference call with analysts, Hewson sought to clarify the status of the F-35 programme. Company officials admitted that, while "the ink is still not dry" on a recent production lot agreement with the US government, they expect details to be finalised in the third quarter (Q3) of 2019.
