The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Armed Forces has withdrawn the helicopters it had deployed at Aden's international airport in Yemen for four years, Maxar satellite imagery shows. There was a CH-47 Chinook, two UH-60 Black Hawks, and two smaller helicopters - possibly 407MRHS - at the UAE's expeditionary base at the airport on 28 August, but these were all gone on 7 September. Armoured vehicles, which appeared to include Leclerc tanks and G6 self-propelled howitzers - a combination only used by the UAE Armed Forces - were still present on 19 September.
