NATO will soon put together its new, if so far vaguely conceived, 'reflection group' to strengthen the allies' political consultation and focus their security priorities. The initiative could see a more dynamic role for the alliance regarding its response to external developments but is also one that carries the risk of undermining solidarity among the allies, warn NATO officials and diplomatic sources.
