The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Navy (IRGCN) has received what appears to be a new class of fast attack missile craft (FAC-M). Four of the FAC-Ms were seen in photographs and TV footage that were released by Iran's Ministry of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics (MODAFL) when it announced on 28 May that "more than 100" vessels had been handed over to the IRGCN. The MODAFL said the classes of vessels that were handed over included the Ashoura, Zolfaghar, Haidar, and Raad, among others it did not name. The imagery of the event showed at least 90 small attack boats arranged in three lines at the IRGCN's base at Bandar Abbas, as well as two swimmer delivery vehicles and a Bavar ground-effect vehicle.
