Two more Type 052D (Luyang Ⅲ)-class destroyers have entered service with China's People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN), according to video footage released by Chinese state-owned media, which showed ships bearing pennant numbers 121 and 122 and flying naval ensigns. The destroyer bearing pennant number 121 was shown conducting live-firings with its 130 mm gun during an exercise held on 1 October. The video was posted on the Weibo social media page of the North Sea Fleet/Northern Theatre Command.
