Iran will have eight long-range Ghadir radars by the end of the year, Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force, said during the inauguration of the sixth and seventh Ghadirs on 6 October. The Ghadir is a fixed low-frequency radar with four walls of antenna arrays designed to detect and track aircraft and missiles with small radar cross-sections.
