Rostec holding Russian Helicopters is set to maintain the Mil Mi-35M gunships of the Brazilian Air Force, the company announced on 12 April. "In November-December 2020 Russian Helicopters and the Industria de Aviacao e Servisos [IAS], a Brazilian Air Force service provider, signed the relevant contracts, according to which the holding will supply repair kits for the aggregates to be overhauled in Brazil, deliver brand new components, and maintain some subsystems in Russia. The specialists of the Russian Helicopters' National Helicopter Center Mil and Kamov will extend [the] time-between-overhaul period of the Mi-35M helicopters," Russian Helicopters said in a statement.
