The Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) have released images showing the locally made Al-Wahsh wheeled armoured personnel carrier in service with JAF personnel for the first time. At least five Al-Wahshs were seen in photographs the JAF released on 5 April to show Exercise 'Shield of the Nation', which involved the Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed al-Nahyan/Rapid Intervention Brigade, special forces, and the 6th Border Guard Battalion. The vehicles appeared to be new and operated by soldiers from the Rapid Intervention Brigade's 91st Battalion, which has previously been seen with RG-33 mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles.
