Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corp (IRGC) has revealed a new unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)that is similar in size to the US-built MQ-9A Reaper.Named the Gaza after the Palestinian territory, the UAV was unveiled on 21 May in series of images and videos.Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force, said the Gaza has an endurance of 35 hours, a service ceiling of 35,000 ft, an operational radius of 500 km for reconnaissance and surveillance and 2,000 km for combat missions, and can carry 13 bombs. He added that it will complete testing this year (the Persian year ends on 20 March 2022) and will enter service next year.The air vehicle shown in the footage was equipped with a nose-mounted electro-optical/infrared sensor turret.
