Rostec holding Russian Helicopters unveiled an upgraded Kamov Ka-32 utility helicopter, the Ka -32 A11M, at the MAKS 2021 aerospace show. Compared with the baseline helicopter, the Ka-32A11M has been fitted with a 'glass cockpit' adapted for night-vision goggles. The modernised rotorcraft is powered by two Klimov VK-2500PS-02 turboshaft engines with a power output of 2,200 hp each and features full-authority digital engine control system. The Ka-32A11M has a maximum take-off weight of 11,000 kg and can transport 3,700 kg of cargo inside its cabin or 5,300 kg on a sling load. The new rotorcraft has a range of up to 650 km, a top speed of 260 km/h, and an operational ceiling of 5,000 m. Although it can accommodate a crew of up to three, the Ka-32 A11M can also be flown by a single pilot.
