ITT Exelis unveiled its Tactical Monocular Night-Vision Goggle (TMNVG) in a new streamlined package design to reduce size and weight so that it can offer a binocular version, at the Eurosatory 2012 exhibition in Paris. Known as Bino-TMNVG, the unit comprises the repackaged TMNVG (referred to as the prime unit) over the right eye on a powered bridge mounting that takes the second image-intensifier (12) tube unit as a clip-on.
