Lockheed Martin has outlined significant cost and time savings forecast to occur as a result of the UK's Military Flight Training System (MFTS) programme. Tom Quelly, Lockheed Martin's director of global training services, presented the figures during a media briefing at Lockheed Martin's Global Training and Logistics facility in Orlando, Florida. To date, 10 Royal Air Force (RAF) and Royal Navy students have started the 50-week training course and advanced jet training has commenced at RAF Valley in Wales.
