Polish unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) manufacturer PIAP has unveiled a small explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) robot based on its Scout platform and an improved version of its larger medium-Ibis UGV. The new platform named Gryf, was developed in the second half of 2011 and was displayed for the first time at Eurosatory 2012. Three of the vehicles have already been delivered for airport security, VIP security and fire service roles.
