Swedish defence and security company Saab has demonstrated two systems from its underwater portfolio at the UK-led 'Unmanned Warrior' exercise, which took place off the coasts of Scotland and Wales in October. Bert Johansson, business development and strategy director at the company's Underwater Systems business unit, told a media briefing at the Euronaval exhibition in Paris on 19 October that the Sea Wasp waterborne counter-improvised explosive device (C-IED) vehicle and the AUV62-AT (acoustic target) anti-submarine warfare (ASW) autonomous underwater training platform were deployed for the exercise.
