South Korea's Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) is the preferred bidder for Norway's logistics and support vessel (LSV). Norway's Defence Logistics Organisation told IHS Jane's that "contract negotiations have been initiated with DSME [and] other tenders are temporarily set on hold". Within a USD225 million budget, Norway is seeking a single LSV to provide afloat support. DSME's preferred bidder status remains conditional.
