In the July/August 2013 issue (vol 118, issue 6) of JNI, we incorrectly attributed a quote in the feature, 'Lighting Off: the America-class amphibious assault ships take shape', to Brian Cuccias, vice-president for amphibious programmes with Huntington Ingalls Industries. The quote, which concerns the re-insertion of a well deck in Flight I variants of the US Navy's America-class landing helicopter assault ships and starts in the last paragraph on p17, should have been attributed to Captain Chris Mercer, head of the amphibious warfare programme office at Naval Sea Systems Command.
