Underwater technology specialist Atlas Elektronik has established a subsidiary in Canada to explore opportunities under the largest defence and security procurement sourcing arrangement in the country's history. The new entity - known as Atlas Elektronik Canada - is headquartered on the west coast, close to one of the two shipyards that was selected in 2011 to build naval and coastguard vessels under the National Shipbuilding Procurement Strategy (NSPS).
