摘要

The Spanish government has agreed to sell two of its decommissioned Conejera-class coastal patrol craft to Senegal and Mozambique at a token price of EUR100 (USD137) each.In approving the deal, the cabinet in Madrid said the 32 m vessels would help the two African countries in "reinforcing vigilance and security in [their] maritime zones".Four Conejera-class craft, named after islets in the Balearic Islands, were ordered in 1978 from the Ferrol shipyards, which are now run by Spanish state-owned shipbuilder Navantia.
